Instagram has introduced lyrics as part of their music offering in the Instagram Stories feature. AWAL delivers your recordings to Facebook and Instagram as standard, however, lyrics at Instagram are not currently processed by AWAL.
Instagram is currently ingesting lyrics from their partner MusixMatch. Lyrics Curators can add lyrics to tracks on MusixMatch which then pull through to tools like Instagram's Music feature in Stories. In order to update lyrics for your releases, you will need to become a Verified Artist at Musixmatch.
MusixMatch pulls releases and updates its catalog directly from digital services like Apple & Spotify. Provided your release is live, you should be able to locate your release on the service. If you cannot locate your release in MusixMatch's system and your release is live, you can utilize their New Release form.
